All of the technical disciplines, which make up the overall skill set of Upton McGougan can be found located in our Edinburgh office, whereat several single discipline teams have been assembled and are permanently based, along with all of our various business support functions. This enables multi-disciplined project specific teams to be created, as pertinent to the specific requirements of each client and individual project, across the whole portfolio of sectors we service.

However, should a single discipline only service be required then our structure provides the flexibility for this as our focus is and has always been customer and quality service driven.

Each technical discipline is the defined responsibility of one director at board level and each individual team, headed by a dedicated associate, comprises of a group of skilled engineers and technicians with the support of their own administrative network.

To this end we employ the best resources that this industry has to offer; professional engineers with experience and skills, state-of-the-art design technology, CAD systems and IT support all of which deliver cost effective, efficient solutions for our Clients.

The Edinburgh office is led by directors Jim Tod and Derek Maskell, Jim is also the current Chairman of the ACE Scottish Group.
